ABOUT ROSOLUTION

Established in 2020 but forged over the last 20 years, Rosolution combines complementary leadership and governance experience spanning start-ups, scale-ups and highly regulated AIM and FTSE 100 business to help you get the best out of your business.

Our founder, Stephen Rosser, is a UK-qualified company commercial solicitor, experienced company secretary and seasoned corporate executive. After qualifying with Eversheds (now Eversheds Sutherland), Stephen worked with clients across the world to transform their businesses through M&A, investments, partnerships and new ventures. Before launching Rosolution, Stephen spent 10 years in industry shaping the energy market of the future, initially at Centrica plc (British Gas), then through Good Energy Group plc where he built and led an integrated governance function.

“There’s no better feeling than solving a problem for someone who thought it was impossible.

I remember the first deal I negotiated when I was training. My client was really worried about an issue. We had no bargaining power and we were on the wrong side of ‘market’. I was a rookie. Conventional wisdom suggested our prospects were bleak. Walking out of the negotiation, my supervising partner looked at me with a wry smile and told me I’d had no right to win that argument. But I had. And I had the only right that ever mattered: it was the outcome my client needed.

Finding innovative solutions, especially where convention suggests there are none, has been a theme throughout my career. As has the challenge I’ve noticed all my clients wrestle with: governance that holds them back, rather than driving them forward.
